What if I get audited by a Manufacturer?
An audit by a manufacturer is serious and can happen to anyone. Companies with a significant number of product licenses in use should be particularly vigilant in keeping their software licensure in compliance. After a company audit, a period of compliance is usually given to come into license compliance with minimal penalty. Every company using a product from any manufacturer should have a plan to ensure they are always in compliance with the manufacturer’s license agreement. Should your company endure an audit or find that you are out of compliance with your licenses, please contact our support staff to be paired with a software specialist who will help your company meet the audit's compliance standards and bring your company into compliance. Individual audits (activations) are done when registration and activation of the product on an individual's computer or device. An online ID is usually required, and once created, the license is captured and paired to that online identity. You can later log into that account on the manufacturer’s network to show proof of license and re-install your product if necessary. Always comply with the manufacture's licensing agreement.
